White fun

Luckily it was not too cold (+2°C) for the late morning walk in the forest. The heavy wet snow had bent many of the young trees but there seemed to be little damage. The forester had driven around to check his patch, so the paths were well "walkable". Elsewhere in Bavaria, broken trees had caused the most work for the emergency services.
In the afternoon a friend came with her hyperactive, well built 2 year old dog to test how Luna got on with her. After a few minutes they were the best of friends and on a walk they jumped around in the snow like two large bunnies. Angie unfortunately didn't take the camera so my rather boring photo from this morning will have to do. Hopefully Luna didn't do too much today.
PS we also have horses but can't ride with this wet snow as the horses quickly grow 5 inches on snow stilts. As the temperature is due to drop under -10°C tonight, maybe it will be possible tomorrow.
