Birthday Meatballs

Although my birthday was last Tuesday it was today that we celebrated with a meal, as is normal in our family. Any occassion, birth, death, birthday, marriage, whatever it is we have a meal.
Today it was my choice and I chose Spaghetti and Meatballs but, as Joanne doesn't like bog standard spaghetti, we had Taglatelle. Accompanied with grated Parmesan, chopped up salsa of onion/tomato/parsley, hot baguettes of brie, mozarella and a normal garlic bread one, and salad.
It was delicious, well done Marlane as it was she wot did the cooking.

Dessert courtesy of Joanne who made a Pistachio cake  and a selection of ice creams and Johanna who brought a cheesecake. 
I am now well and truly immobile!
