Red Breast

In St Andrews today, and as I was on my way to photograph graduation students I spotted one of the UK's favourite birds, with its bright red breast it is familar throughout the year and especially at Christmas. Despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and quick to drive away intruders (so I've been told), but this one seemed very relaxed and very well fed.
