These are not just any old bells........

So, Blip Pals, a question for you......if you had a totally unexpected windfall, what would you do with it? Save or spend?

My unexpected windfall came yesterday I nearly peed my pants with happiness - the day before a trip to Bicester.........oh yes, you can imagine what I have done!

The last two years of Christmas shopping at Bicester I have yearned for Mulberry bells. They seemed to taunt me whenever I heard them. I have a supersonic hearing for these wonderful bells, I can hear them at a thousand paces....today my day came. I met Miss Buttercup and we had our noses pressed on the window waiting for them to open a catch up over a coffee and then calmly walked to Mulberry where I saw THE bag that I could now afford.

ALSO - Cath Kidston Christmas crackers were £10 down from £30 I will put away the ones I had already bought. I needed more than one bag for all the goodies I bought from there. Oh lord what a treat. I also came away with bags from Orla Kiely, French Connection, Wolford, Calvin Klein, Emma bridgewater and a huge bag of goodies from Paul Smith for Mr G....see it wasnt all about me!

Home for a pedicure and a manicure and dinner is now in the oven.

I am giddy with happiness. I am fully aware that money cannot buy you happiness BUT it has today when I wasnt expecting to be able to spend the way I have!

Quote of the day from Miss Buttercup 'I love shopping so much that your arms ache from carrying the bags'. I couldnt agree more. Peach Bellini soothed those aches though didnt they :)

PS - Mulberry bells are what they attach to your bag when you spend in there - they sound just like Rudolph bells they are glorious!
