White morning

Snowing through the night, morning, day, evening, next night, all Saturday. It is white everywhere. Many people have wished to get snow and now we have it.

Slow but safe traffic on the motorways but jams at Helsinki.

The wind has been heavier than ever. At the south coast the average wind speed lasting for ten minutes was 29 meters per second. That´s the highest speed ever in Finland.

So the - 7,5 degrees feels a lot colder.

This has been the chatting topic today. No matter this happens every year. Winter is coming.

PS. I looked at my blips year ago. My first snow picture was dated December the 6th. This year we had our first snow at October.
