"blizzard"

Today the weather Service forecast a blizzard. In fact my phone woke me at 3 am to inform me of such. The radar map showed the entire state covered with snow, blowing snow at that.  In spite of all that, we got very little accumulation, maybe a couple of inches, but it did blow. We lost power for about six hours but used to burners on the kitchen stove to provide some heat. The low tonight is predicted to be 16ºF, so I am thankful it came back on. We have camped in tents at much lower temperatures, but we 
were much younger in those days!
