Fortune

Mine was all about 'being persistent enough to reach my goal'.  AW's was about having the knack for uniting two different trains of thought, or something like that.  The message was communicated in four languages -- English, Dutch, French, and German ... but not in Chinese.  Amusing.

After a slow start and a late morning, we went to town to get our digital pictures taken for the visa applications for our winter break.  We got hard copies, too.  After that, it was off to the cinema, Pathé, for a couple of hours of fantastic beasts, after which we had dinner.  Then back home to some gaming, then bed.  AW decided to buy the air fryer next year.  Don't know why, exactly, but maybe because he wants to use the old one till the fat is really almost finished, so could take a while yet.

The weather?  After months of warmth and sun, finally, it was freezing.  AW really felt cold.  I have to get used to that as he's usually okay when it's wintry cold.  He is obviously getting older, something we both need to adjust to.
