Kolkata Kid

One of the joys of taking photographs in many countries outside of Europe is that nobody worries when you take photographs of children, which is great because they make great subjects.

I have now moved from the city centre hotel to the homestay which is to be our base for the photographic workshop which I have now joined.  This evening, before eating, we went for a wander around the area and found a number of interesting scenes.  This little lad was bashing an empty egg tray with sticks - simple pleasures when you don't have electronic gizmos.

The workshop proper starts tomorrow.
