Mono Monday: Empty

:) I found out the theme for Mono Monday early enough to take part!

So today, I had set my alarm for 6:40 as I was going to drive G in. The sky was a strange yellow-red. I can't remember seeing anything like it for a long time. It soon rained - which over here - despite all the havoc it causes on the roads - is always very welcome!

G discovered she was an hour too early, so we got to sit by the beach observing all the goings-on - mainly tourist buses still pulling up for the customary photo of the Burj Al Arab, and seagulls playing in the puddles on the road. She then went to school and I had a meeting with Patrick.

A phone call yesterday to organise bone density scans and a mammogram for G resulted in appointments this afternoon. I can't believe that the last bone scan I had was in 2010!

It was good to finally get home for just enough time to try out a few hymns/songs before going to the Life Group which was a bit more relaxed tonight!
