is a female house finch - patiently waiting to eat on - top of the bird feeder - while her bird besties have - their fill below

as a sidebar - isn't there a song about personality - that the old timers used to sing? - you know, like sinatra or dean martin? - maybe i'm making it up

anyway, back to the subject at hand - now that these tiny finches - have found my feeder - they aren't wasting any time - in making pigs out of themselves - they make certain to come around - at the same time every day - (talk about setting a routine) - and it would appear they enjoy bringing - more friends with each visit - too bad they don't like tea - we could have a dandy tea party - at any rate, we're still having...
