The Golden Fleece

My plans to travel to Dumfries by train had to be aborted, so went by car instead.

The trip took a bit longer than anticipated as I kept pulling into lay-bys to take some photos.

This was one of the few occasions where I’ve seen the landfall of a rainbow. I did not have time and was not equipped to go digging!

See also extras along with a view up the glen towards the Devil’s Beeftub near Moffat.The scenery was lovely in the crisp morning air (0.5oC at one point) with a frosting of snow on some hills.

Still made it in good time for interviews and meetings then back up the road as night fell.
