Thanksgiving 2018

We spent this Thanksgiving with our Portland family at a rental home in Manzanita Oregon a few blocks from the Pacific ocean.  We celebrated with our Thanksgiving meal all together officially the Friday after Thanksgiving.   We  caravaned down to the coast on Thanksgiving then did all the leftover prep the next day and ate in the later afternoon.  Mixed weather so only a small bit of time actually exploring the beach.  But even Cowboy got to do that cone free!   Our meal had turkey and tofurkey and all the other fixings....
      Most of all I am thankful that we were all able to share this special time with the kids and grandkids and our dil's mom.  We also had a brownie and a peach pie that we ate later and we also had an adult game time later on   A rousing word game played with mouthpieces provided for lots of wine infused hilarity.  
      As the years and ages of us all increase, we are ever thankful for this time that we do get to share in a celebration that is a happy time!
