"Not good enough for Paul!"

The sunset featured on Paul the Weatherman tonight but taken from further down the River Aire on the canal near Castleford. I have to admit that the reflection in the canal gave it the edge on my contribution to Paul's slot!

I've marked most of the day today (I thought I had retired from teaching!) apart from when Tony enticed me away to Lady Bs for lunch. They had beef vegetable broth and pie 'n' mushy peas on the Specials board so we couldn't resist! We had half an hour of playing with the ducks but they weren't being photogenic so it was back to the computer and marking until the sun started to set over Ryecroft and was lovelier by the minute. Funny how the sunsets change and deepen more beautifully for some minutes then suddenly......they go over and the beauty is gone. Probably why we enjoy them so much!

I was going to run up a quick copy of the Bayeaux Tapestry to blip today as it's my 1066th Blip but sadly the marking got in the way.
