Mono Monday - Empty
I have a fondness for our beautiful bay's marginal places and forgotten corners. This is the spot by the Dumbarton Bridge where the empty commuter buses spend their idle hours. The sky was dramatic to the west with the harbingers of approaching rain.
The extra is the old Dumbarton railway crossing - also empty as the last train ran on it in 1981. They say the swinging section is locked open for boats to pass - it doesn't look it from here! looking east was much less dramatic today.
Thank you 60plus for your wonderful hosting.
