Christmas Lights

It was the turning on of the lights in Worsley Village tonight. Father Christmas usually arrives on a barge on the canal but the Swing Bridge was frozen and the boats couldn't get to Worlsey, so Santa drove up in his open top Stag car. Pat and I had gone down together, it was absolutely freezing and the fog hasn't lifted all day, we bought a cup of mulled wine which warmed us up a bit. I bought a coloured glow stick and I tried some shots with it but I need more practise.

At least my skin was smooth today after yesterday's gritting!
