Dow Crag from Torver Common

2 walks today, one on the western side of Thirlmere and then down to Torver Common for my penultimate Birkett.
The first went well with great views across to Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathera all capped in snow. Back at the car for 10-15 and on to my penultimate hill.
Anybody who has been to Torver Comman will know that it's not the most inspirational of places so i decided to go up via the old mine workings. Though the views of the snow capped mountains earlier in the day where good I have a special place for Dow Crag, show off to it's best on a day like today.
