Tarzan

Jaap and I had tickets for the musical Tarzan!
It was a fantastic performance. Amusing and entertaining and sometimes the right amount of sad. The actors used the entire room to swing the vines, so sometimes they were right above you.

The musical opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway on May 10, 2006 and opened only one year later on April 15th 2007 in the Fortis Circustheater in Scheveningen. It's the first time a Broadway show arrived in the Netherlands so short after it opened on Broadway. On July 8th on Broadway the curtain fell after only 486 performances. In the Fortis Circustheater however, the musical Tarzan is a huge succes, having sold more tickets than the Lion King.
