a foggy day for a bike ride

November brought us a very foggy start to the day today so that made for some nice photos when we had to visit Hadleigh for some supermarket shopping! Hadleigh hosted the mountain bike events for the London Olympics so a couple of bike statues were put up to commemorate that fact.  It's not the most glamorous location to site a statue - it's next to a Morrisons carpark and the building in the foggy background is the old firestation - but it means everyone gets to see it as they drive along this road heading to Leigh and Southend!

Also noticed a worrying trend when we went into the Morrisons cafe today - they were out of teacakes! This also happened to us at Sainsburys a couple of weeks ago, and another little cafe nearby! Getting a little concerned that the nation seems to be suffering a teacake shortage!
