Grey and Wet.

I walked down to the village this morning,H wanted to drive me and i said i like a walk.my legs did get wet on the way home.i did not meet anyone on the way.our next door but one neighbour came around to ask about night storage heaters,has her dad lives next door to us and his lounge heater charges at night and goes cold quickly in the morning.i lent her the book that we had with ours and the receipt was still in it.the previous neighbour had theirs put in a few years after us.but we also kept our parkray and rads that were in our house when we moved in when it was built in 1976.we are pleased now that we did not have it taken out.has we have lit it again now for the winter.and it's so much warmer.plus i don't have to use the tumble dryer ,on wet days i put the washing on clothes airer and it's dry by morning.plus how nice to come in to a glowing fire.
