Oh dear! Den had hit his ball in the water...

though he had been hitting some superb shots today, as had my friend Gill. We had a great day out just doing nine holes in this wonderful course at Emporda. The course is superb, and has been used by players on the European Tour.
The sun was incredibly bright, but the wind was still incredibly strong, so it was hard work against the wind. My energy level was not quite ready for 18 holes yet, but it was so good to be out having a go. If the weather is kind on Monday I might see if I can manage 18 holes, as it's the day before we fly home, and I'll not want to try that on our soggy course in Keswick at home!
