We're On Our Way!

Behold the incredibly crowded, roasting hot airplane waiting at Boston's Logan Airport to take us to San Francisco -- the first leg of our journey to Auckland.  Sadly, Mr. W and I were both assigned middle seats (ugh!) and not together, so I got to spend 6 1/2 hours sandwiched between two big men who both felt they had divine right over both arm rests, and the one in the window seat also had sovereignty over the window shade, so the entire trip was spent in dark and gloom. 

The good news is we are now in San Francisco, awaiting our next flight which should thankfully be much more comfortable, as we are in First Class with lie flat seats.  Hooray!

I'm blipping this from the United Airlines lounge, so apologies for lack of comments today, tomorrow (which won't exist for me, thanks to crossing the International Date Line), and Thursday.
