Scarred landscape....

...but not for long.  It seems that each year a section of the forest is felled and taken away, much of it overseas.  For a while you look at the scarred landscape and think how sad it looks.  Felled areas are replanted very quickly and before long the new pine trees start to merge with the landscape and very soon it's a young forest again. In the extra you can see the young trees starting to show.  The track shown is part of a myriad of mountain biking and walking tracks here.
