WELL THE FORECAST DID SAY RAIN....

.... of extreme proportions and as mentioned yesterday 40mm was suggested for here!!??

Well, did we get that ... no way!!

We have had just over 200mm (around 5inch son the old scale) from midnight to 5 pm here and I think Sydney centre area has had a heap more and a lot more wind than what we had!
Sadly one man was killed from the flash flooding and of course absolutely chaos with transport etc. The Sydney airport at one point was closed down.

Well a good day to stay inside and catch up on a few bits so stuck my head out at one point to take this petunia laden down with drops.
