Driving cows in driving rain

This morning there was a grand exercise to bring the animals from the far end of the farm to the yard for the winter.  T and B got a great team together to stand at all the junctions on the lane to prevent them going the wrong way. The journey was a great success as the cows were not in an adventurous mood in this wet weather and walked sedately along the two miles.It was not possible just to bring them over the farm because of the layout of the arable fields.  Another photograph in the extras.

N had a check-up at the hospital and all went well.  The doctor said they were now getting short of staff and some supplies were running out which was worrying to hear.
