Early to Work

The allotment I work at is right beside a scenic bend on The Waters of Leith River.  I can stop and watch the ducks and swans just before I pop into the lane where the allotment is sited.
The sun was just rising above the trees as I arrived yesterday, which made a good start to the day.  Unfortunately it turned out to be too cold for the younger members of my group today, some of who are not quite 2 years old.  So we decided they will not be back until after Christmas, but I will be doing Christmas crafts with them instead.
Had a lovely end to the day joining friends in Bruntsfield for a Christmas drink.
