Wellcome Collection: Wilkinson Eyre Staircase

Loopier in large.

We went to the "Living with Buildings: Health and Architecture" exhibition at the Wellcome Collection. I found it below par (or short of their usual excellence), but it was a diversion, even if I was a bit miffed that photography wasn't allowed in the gallery itself. 
Perverse, but I think that the mixed-use atrium with its stunning staircase in its colourful surroundings, amongst readers, Gormley admirers, café users, and shop browsers rather more edifying and informative (perhaps) than the exhibition, although it is possible that the exhibition catalysed my reflections...
