Wild, windy and very wet Wednesday

It was good not to be called out last night and I got a good nights sleep too.

I trotted off to work early to get a head start only to be confronted by an office door that wouldn't open. Someone had left the snib down on the Yale lock - and we don't have a key! Eventually the estates manager found a key (2 hours). In the meantime we'd got our selves settled in at Costas.

I got soaked at work today dashing in and out of the car to visit new mums and babies, just as well I had my trusty waterproof NHS jacket.

I'm so pleased we had a new, draught free door fitted in September, no more howling gales between the door and the wall.
