Decorating the Pavilion!
Yesterday, my friend from North Carolina came down for a 6 day visit. Judy arrived around 9:45 Monday night. We stayed up until midnight on all the things that have happened in our lives and had some really good laughs at ourselves catching up on each others worlds.
Today we went out to the nursery. Judy got to see her tropical bonsai that are still here in the south. Those trees won't survive where she lives now because it is way to cold for them and not enough sunhours during each day. We had a wonderful hot dog roast with David and Linda, for lunch. Then we proceeded to get out the xmas lights and run them through the rafters and 2x4's. While David and Judy did that, I proceeded to wrap the garland around the posts which supports the roof. I even found a small green piece to wrap around the xmas bonsai tree.
On Sunday, Dec 3 the Bonsai Club is having it's Xmas party. We expect between 50 or 60 people there. It will be a pot luck with reindeer games, bonsai games, Christmas Carols, and a wonderful raffle.
