Storm damage

Storm Diana came and went leaving signs of her presence in the form of substantial tree damage locally. The main pic is of a mature Beech where very large branches have fallen blocking the riverside footpath. The extra is a mature Sycamore which snapped off at the foot of the trunk and in falling had a domino effect on nearby saplings.
