Abstract Thursday - Still Life

For this week's still life theme I've tweaked the ceramic poppy I bought from the 2014 Tower of London installation. I hummed and hawed about which one I preferred, so in the end I added the other one as an extra. Tell me which one you prefer.

I was still having breakfast when cousin Alison phoned to cancel today's lunch date because she's full of the cold and feeling miserable, so I ended up doing more admin this morning. By afternoon the rain had cleared, so Nancy and I walked up to Doyle's for a tea, flapjack and catch-up.
