Agamemnon!

Mel's end of honours BBQ / party. She has a table-tennis table fashioned out of an old chalk board. It made for a good game of table-tennis-pictionary - but that's another story!

This is Agamemnon.

Agamemnon is an extremely subtle and tactful game that combines the cat like table-tennis reflexes of a jaguar with the mental dexterity of the mentally dexterous.

A circle of people gather round the table. Once you hit the ball, you move round the table in sequence in a predefined clockwise or anti-clockwise manner. The circle keeps moving until someone misses. Effectively, a group game of ping-pong where everyone is constantly being subbed in for a single shot.

But! The twist! For some unknown reason, if someone yells: "Agamemnon!" the order reverses, and a muddled spaghetti junction of mental and physical confusion follows.
