Bokeh...

Today has been quite dull and windy but it did brighten up a bit this afternoon. I have spent a bit of time preparing for Mondays Camera Club evening. The evening is mainly looking at bokeh (I normally pronounce that "out of focus backgrounds") and some simple 'special effects' to jazz up OofF highlights.

This rather uninteresting photo is an easily set up example that all the members should be able to have a go with, a bust, some Christmas lights and a black background make the set. A simple mask made of card with a star cut-out provide the special effect...

What can go wrong...
