 If you were looking you might've seen this old lady twice before?

Here she is finished!

I closed several cracks in the bowl & all around the sides. I lifted the old fingerboard which was totally knackered & already a replacement. I built & fitted the new one. CC cut 13 rhomboids of mother of pearl + a couple of tortoise shell ones to go round the edge.

Today I filed them all flush & polished them down. Today I repaired the bridge, made a new nut (ask a musician), gave the mucky table a good clean & an oil finish. Finally I stringed her up - she doesn't sound fantastic - but fairly near... She needs a lot of playing!

Very expensive job - nostalgia pays well.
