sunshine after the rain

I went along to the pre-graduation reception of the master students I taught last year. It was really nice and I am very happy for the student who I supervised. She's done extremely well and managed to get a number of prices. I did get well soaked on the way to the reception. Luckily the sun came out for them just in time when they were gathering outside McEwen Hall. I managed to get some work done. In the evening we had a quadruple curry with the lovely neighbours. It is nice to have a big table (11 in all). Sadly, they are leaving tomorrow to return to the US.
