...and there was light

To Barts this afternoon for my regular clinical check-up. I'd been a little pessimistic but all appears to be positive. Hoorah!
I feel comforted being looked after by the many healing spirits residing at Barts. Bless them all, ancient and modern.

In my skipping mood, the work-in-progress graffiti at Bank tube interchange seemed an appropriate choice for lead image.
But leaving Barts I fell upon two historic extras, first the Fabulous Gilded Boy of Pye Lane ( a prescient poster boy for over-consumption leading to disaster...look him up) and secondly, the poignantly battered donation boxes at the hospitals ancient front door.
