December morning

My visiting Mistle Thrush is back. I couldn't get a clear photo from the dining room but I'm pleased to have seen him/her for the third year running.

While I was putting more peanuts in the feeder, a daft blackbird nearly flew down - saw me - and did the blackbird equivalent of a handbrake turn.... wonderful.

Crisp and gorgeous first thing. Then rain. Then sunshine making interesting patterns in the garden. The photo is taken through the remaining clematis leaves. I've been inspired by some of the natural abstract stuff from the top blippers. Here is my attempt.
