... I did it anyway

The shops near my house have all sorts of engravings in the pavement. They can be quite difficult to read but if it's been raining, they really stand out! Unfortunately someone decided to put washing up liquid in the fountain so there were bubbles everywhere!

One of the inscriptions says "I want a fresh start" and it was written by Callum, age 14. You wonder what might have happened in his short life for him to make such a statement.

I really liked "... but I did it anyway". A reminder not to put myself in my own way when the doubts or fear creep in.
