Coomera or Gold Coast/Brisbane?

Today I wanted to have a go at a greater depth of field (so that everything is sharp) and I think with this shot I've created that effect. I like how the row of trees and the road to the right are sharp! However what I still don't really understand is why in manual mode does the ISO get bumped up to 3200 when I'm outside in the bright sunshine (it seems to do this automatically)? I'll figure it out one of these days....
So....where do you want to go today? It's straight ahead for Coomera or right for either the Gold Coast or Brisbane (the recommended option!!).
