Lens Final

Well after all our hard work and preparation the day dawned for the Lens Final in Stirling. It was an inspiring day and each group pitched confidently and would all have been worthy winners. We were sixth out of seven so it felt a long wait but our pitch went as well as we'd hoped.

After another long wait each group had to stand in front of the judges for feedback and the result. We were absolutely delighted to be awarded the full £15,000 we had asked for. This will enable us to improve our communication with the children and young people we work with. The whole process has been hard work and much more time consuming than I expected but I have learnt a lot and made friends with staff from different parts of the organisation that I would probably never have met otherwise.

Now for a few weeks rest before the work really begins in January.
