Castle Coch Colours

It's been another dreary day weather wise, and needing to drop a roll of film to the developers in Cardiff, I stopped off at Castle Coch, Tongwynlais, Cardiff, to take a photograph. The castle has a leaky roof and the water ingress has damaged the painted decoration in the bedrooms so the castle is covered in scaffolding being repaired.

The best room to me s the dining room which is circular with a domed ceiling with is elaborately painted and gilded as you can see from the 180 degree photograph I've taken.

Cardiff City FC play Wolves tonight at 8pm in a match we're desperate to win to keep up off the bottom of the table. Last time we played them it was a thrilling match even though Cardiff lost. We were both promoted automatically.  It's pouring down so hopefully Wolves will be depressed by the Welsh weather!!  A contrast to the bright ceiling.
