High tide, Evie (Day 1304)

After a wet, windy wander up the hill with the dogs this morning, I spent a while sorting out the back of the van. I really must stop throwing stuff in the van as I am getting cleared up when I finish a job.
Later I took a trip into town to get various bits and bobs and pay a couple of bills. The weather improved a little by the time I was home for lunch with my beautiful wife and we decided that we would head to Evie for a wander with the dogs.
The tide was very high and we weren't able to do our usual circuit there as we couldn't cross the burn at the far end of the beach. The dogs seemed happy enough with the option of cutting through a field instead.
Back at home HV and I made a start on prepping woodwork for painting. More of the same tomorrow I reckon.
