Out and About in South Yorkshire

Out to Fox Valley this morning to collect my new specs (which will hopefully make driving on a night easier).  Some food shopping as there is a market on a Friday and then onto the picture framers where I finally got round to taking in three images to be framed.  

The roads were crazy this morning as the M1 northbound was closed due to a lorry that had gone over on its side.  So having chosen an  alternative route, to avoid the main roads (along with lots of van drivers), we eventually found ourselves across the road from The Travellers, so we decided we’d stop for lunch.  Then onto the sports centre in Barnsley where our hairdressers are based.  Fortunately by the time we left the road traffic didn’t seem too bad.
