"Get me her head on a plate, he commanded...!"

Three days away with my Editor and it's come to this. And yet she looks remarkably unperturbed, doesn't she?.

(Fear not, she's sitting next to me as I upload this, fully intact.)

And no, it wasn't done with Photoshop - apart from tidying up the wallpaper a bit to remove a distracting sign, this is straight out of camera.

OK, you guessed. We visited the World of Illusions at the Camera Obscura here in Edinburgh today. It's all done with mirrors beneath the table top.

(Needless to say I took lots of photos of other illusions too, but this one won the competition to be my blip today.)

Apart from that we also dodged the heavy showers by including a visit to "Mary King's Close" - a subterranean world with lots of fascinating history. Another fun day.
