Pentland Hills with Dusting of Snow

Last day of November. Day off work, St. Andrews Day. If the weather had been nice, I thought it might have been nice to cycle to Athelstaneford, the birthplace of the national flag of Scotland.

Looked out the window, and it didn't look very good. Heavy showers on and off throughout the morning. Even Lulu, the cat, Extra, wasn't impressed. So the bike ride wasn't to happen.

After lunch, a line of showers just lined up and pounded Edinburgh. So no bike ride. It was a bit of cabin fever really. It did eventually clear, and I went out for a walk. I noticed the Pentland Hills had a dusting of snow, so I had to find a decent view of them to demonstrate this, which I found at Fairmilehead.

Walked home from there, stopping along the way at a local shop that sells something yummy for afternoon coffee.
