Silver Birch Sunrise

Having put out one hairy pony and heading back to the stable for the chestnut nutcase I realised I had no proper camera with me ( sad but I usually carry one almost everywhere) so snapped this with the Nokia. This tall Birch is beautiful with its delicate tracery of branches set against the pink morning light. The sunrise itself was lovely but the photos I took were not! By the time Tango was in the field the morning was all pale skies, bereft of the colour that had been so captivating only a few minutes earlier.
