My Doctor Sister-in-Law rang and managed to get me an appointment at the local surgery to look at my ear. So, after a run (cold, cold, cold), I drove over. The doctor was reassuring and said that my eardrum was NOT perforated. Subsequently, the fact that, by blowing my nose, I was able to make externally audible whistles, makes me doubt that. But, spoiler alert, by the end of the week, goo has stopped coming out and it doesn’t hurt, so I’m not worried...
