Day 335 - Rest in peace Nora

Matt's Nana sadly passed away last night at the grand old age of 100.

She had a massive stroke a few days ago, so we have been fearing the worst. At least she's at peace now.

She would of been 101 on New Year's Eve, so she's had a full and lovely life. She lived through two World Wars. She got married during WW2 and saw her new husband, Frank, leave straight after to fight and then didn't see him for almost 3 years. When he returned (safely, thankfully), they had two children, Linda (Matt's mum) and Alan. Then came four grandchildren (Linda had Matt and Chris, Alan had Catherine and Matthew), and more recently four great grandchildren (H, Lucy, Henry and Jack). So she was most definitely blessed.

Harry loved her, so we've told him she's gone to heaven and is now a star in the sky, hence this blip in her memory.
