Pinkfoot Geese

The geese are flying south for the winter. You hear them coming before you see them. These were very high up passing over the airport. I think there are 102 in this skein.. A beautiful crisp and frosty day, without wind and bright sunshine will give them a boost on their journey. Many come from Iceland on their way to the Solway Coast by Dumfries.
