Bridge over the Tyne

What a miserable day for Christmas shopping in Newcastle today. Not that we had any intention of going near a shop; we were at a talk about Bridges of the North East, so only met the rain as we headed back to the car and home.

Fascinating talk - some bridges we knew and many we didn't. Some interesting visits stored away for the future. 

Home now, after our few days away, but not long before we are away again. Great night last night at the Sage - Oysterband - they've been going 40 years and are still rocking brilliantly.
