Aaaah!
Instead of saying "cheese" Rebecca copied the noise and shouted "aaaah" which Elizabeth then copied.
All dressed up in hats and gloves, because it's bloody cold outside.
So, Rebecca can now:
* walk about 6 steps
* clap herself when we say well done
* use a spoon, but prefers fingers
* point at things she wants, saying "da"
* get on and off the bouncing, twirling zebra thing
* recognize lots of words
* go up & downstairs super speedy
* stand unaided for ages
* climb on anything possible
* pull toys apart
* put pennies into small boxes
* play peekaboo
* when she "reads" a book, she is completely engrossed and makes lots of noises like she understands it all
* although she's not really saying words, she copies noises a lot
* eat, eat and eat!
She's also started taking cows milk, and I'm really cutting back the breast milk. Hopefully that journey will be over soon.
Elizabeth is having fun playing with my old htc desire, which Jeff has made child friendly. She's got apps, music and the camera to play with.
Her vocabulary is ever expanding. New words include "actually" "explain" and "probably". She took some raisins to Jeff today and said he needed them to give him energy. She's very clear and is mostly correct when phrasing things. She's imaginative too. She had two toy fishes at the swimming pool earlier and had them acting out a scene from Finding Nemo. And she can say the whole alphabet thanks to the twinkle twinkle song.
